After the nc8400 and nc6400 laptop, here’s the Compaq nc7400 from HP. Weighs at just 5.5 ounces, this compact notebook features 512MB of RAM, up to 100GB of HDD, an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 with up to 224 MB shared system memory, and a Premier Sound audio/speaker subsystem with ADI1981HD High Definition CODEC. Other configurations include 3 USB 2.0, VGA, external mic, line out, VGA, IEEE 1394a, AC power connector, RJ-11, RJ-45, travel battery connector, docking connector, Broadcom 10/100 Ethernet PCI Controller,56K V.92 modem with digital line guard and 1 Type I/II PC Card slot which supports both 32-bit CardBus and 16-bit PC Cards.

For the processor, you can choose between a single core T1300 and Celeron M 420, or a dual core T2400 or T2500 processor. Like other previously mentioned new laptops from HP, you can also opt for the display between a 15.4-inch WXGA, a 15.4-inch WXGA BrightView or a 15.4-inch WSXGA+ wide viewing angle. Another stuff you can customize is the optical drive. The choice is a DVD/CD-RW Combo; DVD+/-RW SuperMulti with Double Layer; or LightScribe DVD+/-RW with Double Layer.

HP Compaq nc7400 laptop will be available in May 22th with a starting price of $750.
