Maxian will soon release a firmware upgrade to their T-600 PMP that will add TTS (Text To Speech) engine to the portable media player. With the help of the TTS technology, the T-600 will be able to read four languages, like Korean, English, Chinese, and Japanese, with a natural human voice, not mechanical tone. According to Byung Kyu Jeong, marketing director of the company, users can take advantage of this upgraded feature to study foreign languages.
