Medion has recently announced their plan to release the 32-inch HD-Ready LCD TV, the MD-20099 model, for under £600. This HDTV features a WXGA (1366×768) resolution, a brightness of 550 cd/2, a contrast ratio of 1000:1, and built-in 2 x 10W RMS speaker supported by five band equalizer that deliver clear and high-quality Stereo Nicam sound. Medion will also incorporate CTI, 3D comb filter and noise reduction technology to enhance the quality of the High Definition picture.

Furthermore, MD-20099 HD-Ready LCD TV is equipped with dual tuner PIP (picture in picture) with Multipicture, enabling viewing of a second channel in a thumbnail window, and PAT (picture and text), which shows a picture and Teletext simultaneously on a split screen. It will be available around the end of May in all 65 Toys R Us stores.
