SPH-B3100, the DMB cell phone from Samsung, will finally hit the Korean market very soon this month. Obviously, since its a DMB phone, you’ll be able to receive satellite TV broadcast and watch it right from your mobile handsets. The good thing, this compact phone has a TV-out port, so you can connect it to your TV and enjoy your favourite TV programme on a bigger screen with your friends.
Other features include a built-in FM radio tuner, an integrated digital music player (MP3), MOD (Music on Demand) support, and a MobileTouch interface for quick access of music player controls. There are three dedicated buttons on the clamshell of the cell phone to make it easy for you to operate the music player.
Measures 96 x 49 x 23 mm and weighs at just 130 grams, the compact and light SPH-B3100 DMB phone comes with a double-flip style a la Nokia’s N90 cell phone. Means, you can either open it upward and use it as a general cell phone, or open to the side to watch the TV programme. Furthermore, it is equipped with a 16M colors TFT display (not sure about the resolution) and two dual speakers behind the screen.
No words about the price and world-wide availability yet.
