Sony Electronics has expanded their sales market and recently release the Spanish edition of Sony VAIO FJ laptop. Strangely, it’s currently only available in US. However, the company hopes that the rising Hispanic population in US will choose their Espanol notebook among their competitors as this is the first Spanish PC in the United States.
Dubbed as the Sony VAIO FJ Series en Espanol, the laptop is available in five different colors - the Onyx Black, Pearl White, Sky Blue, Jade Green, and Raspberry Red. Sony is also smart enough to offer a soccer-themed promotion where on purchase, customers will get a personalized jersey with their name and number of choice in the color of their favorite team.
As for the specs, the Espanol edition is similar to the original Sony VAIO FJ laptop. It is powered by an Intel Centrino Mobile technology, 14.1-inch WXGA (1280×800) LCD screen with XBrite-Eco technology, DVD+R DL with DVD±RW2 optical drive, up to 1GB of RAM, and 100GB of HDD. It comes with either Microsoft Windows XP Home or Professional edition OS, and support the upcoming Windows Vista OS as well.
Sony VAIO FJ - en Espanol laptop will be available soon this month with the starting price of around $1,400.
