Sony Style is going to release this new portable reader system, the PRS-500 model, very soon. This device offers a 6-inch SVGA (800×600) gray scale (huh?) display with E Ink Display technology, internal memory (not sure how much the capacity is) with memory card slot (MS, SD), and an approximately 7,500 page turns per battery charge. The PRS-500 has 0.5-inch thin and 9 ounches weighs. Quite compact.

Btw, have anyone really use a portable reader system like this? Personally, I don’t like to read a book or any long articles in my PC. I can’t imagine if I have to read them using a smaller device like this.
