Panasonic DMC-FZ7 Digital CameraPanasonic has recently announced their latest digital camera, the DMC-FZ7. As the successor of the popular Lumix FZ5 camera, it inherites several good stuff from its older generation, such as the 12x optical zoom LEICA DC lens that equivalent to 36mm to 432mm on a 35mm film camera. Sporting a 6.0 megapixel CCD, the DMC-FZ7 also offers MEGA O.I.S (Optical Image Stabilizer) feature that will try its best to compensates the hand-shake, reducing the blur from the photos, and resulting in a clear beautiful images.

If you want to record your precious event (wedding, first date, birthday party, etc), the DMC-FZ7 digital camera can provide a wonderful full-size movies in Wide VGA (848×480) format at 30 fps, thanks to the pixel-mixed readout method performed at the CCD. That’s much better than the normal VGA (640×480) format that usually supported by a digital camera.

Other features include a large 2.5-inch Polycrystalline TFT, USB connectivity, and SD / MMC card slot (no onboard memory though). It measures 112.5 x 72.2 x 79 mm and weighs 310 grams.
