Casio has recently announced the latest member of its Exilim’s digital camera lines, the EX-Z600. Remember not to mix it up with the EX-S600 Well, both specs are almost similar though - 6 megapixel CCD and 3x optical zoom lens. However, the Z600 is more compact than the S600 model. This new camera measures 88.5 x 57 x 20.5 mm and weighs 112 grams, while its big brother measures 90 x 16.1 x 59 mm and weighs 115 grams. The Z600 digital camera itself is the upgrade of the previous EX-Z500 model. We didn’t cover that camera here, but we have the S500 model, just incase you want to check it out.
Casio’s Exilim EX-Z600 digital camera sports an extra large 2.7-inch Super Bright LCD that produces a luminance of 1200 candelas per square metre. That’s three times brighter than the previous EX-Z500 model. Built using the latest Exilim engine, this camera features Anti Shake DSP, as well as Auto Macro and Quick Shutter functions. These three features will guarantee to deliver clear photos result by reducing the incidence of blurred photos due to moving subjects or shaking hands.
Another highlighted feature is the Rapid Flash function, which enables three consecutive high speed flash photos in only one second. Comes with 6.3MB of onboard memory, along with SD card slot for additional photos storage, the Casio Exilim EX-Z600 digital camera will be available in the UK and Eire from March 2006 in silver, black and blue.
