Vivitar Vivicam X60 10-Megapixel Digital Camera

Never heard of Vivitar? Me neither. But this company has made a good show at the recent CES 2006 by displaying their 10 megapixel digital camera, the Vivicam X60. This camera sports 6x optical zoom lens, 8x digital zoom, and a large 2.8-inch color LTPS LCD display for easily and clearly viewing your snapshot result. Your photos will be saved in JPEG format with 3650 x 2736 resolution. Like most digital cameras, Vivicam X60 can also record video at 640 x 480 resolution at 30 fps.
X60 digital camera doesn’t have internal memory, but it provides SD card slot (up to 1GB supported) to store your photos. Other features include USB 1.1 support and AV out (NTSC/PAL). Measures 93 x 57 x 25.5 mm and weighs 150 grams, this camera will be available in second or third quarter of 2006 for a price under $500.
