Nokia, the famous cell phone manufacturer, recently presented their new mid-range phone, the 6125 model. This quadband GSM (850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900) clamshell phone is equipped with internal and external display (both come in color), 1.3 megapixel camera module with 8x digital zoom, and a-not-surprising video recording capability. For the connectivity with other devices or computer, it supports Bluetooth, Infrared, and USB.
Nokia 6125 cell phone is also a multimedia phone. It does support MP3, MP4, eAAC+, and WMA audio files, and comes with integrated stereo FM radio tuner as well. Music and video files can be stored on the hot swappable MicroSD memory card. If you don’t know what “hot swappable” feature is, it means you can plug or unplug the memory card without having to turn off your cell phone. Very handy feature.
Other features include email, instant messaging, PTT (Push-To-Talk), Flash player, and support for video ringtones. This phone is planned to release in the second quarter of 2006 for about 230 Euros or around US$280.
