Dual Core processor is one of the hottest computer technology right now, especially on the laptop. After NEC with their VB16E LV-W notebook, Dell also came up with the Inspiron 9400 that supports Intel’s Dual Core processor as well. This laptop has a 17-inch (1920 x 1200 pixels) TrueLife LCD display with anti-glare that provide higher contrast ratio than a tradional screen 256MB GeForce Go 7800 graphic card, 1GB of 667MHz DDR2 memory (expandable up to 2GB), and 60GB of hard drive. It is also equipped with 5-in-1 card reader, Firewire, 6 USB ports, DVI port, 8x DVD+/-RW drive, and Gigabit LAN.
One of the highlighted feature in this Dell’s laptop is the ability to play videos, music or photo slideshows stored on the hard disk drive or optical drive without completly booting up. Also, the 6-cell Lithium-ion battery will provide 3 hours of usage, as claimed by the company. Pretty nice, isn’t it?
Dell Inspiron 9400 will be available for $2600.
