NEC VY16E LV-W Laptop With Intel Dual Core CPU Support

The VY16E LV-W laptop is not just NEC’s first laptop that support Intel Dual Core CPU technology, but this is also the first dual core laptop that we ever mention here… Well, okay, that’s not really important, so anyway, this notebook is powered by T2300 (Yonah) 1.66GHz processor, 512MB of DDR2 SDRAM (PC2-4200), 40GB of hard drive, and 945GM Express graphic card. Aimed at professional market, this laptop comes with 14.1-inch SXGA+ LCD screen and CD-RW/DVD combo drive. It runs under Windows XP Professional edition.

Weight at 1.96kg, the VY16E LV-W laptop will cost you 2137 EUR if you decide to get one. Maybe I’ll wait one from Toshiba…
