Motorola and Oakley yesterday announced the O ROKR, their latest eyewear product. Currently being showcased at CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2006 exhibition, this fashionable gadget enables hands-free mobile communications for any (compatible) Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone, as well as wireless music streaming via Bluetooth from a (compatible) music-optimized mobile phone or portable music player equipped with Bluetooth adapter add-on. What they mean with compatible are maybe the ROKR and ROKR E2 cell phone.
O ROKR EyeWear comes with the design authenticity of an Oakley original and combines Oakley’s High Definition Optics (HDO) with Motorola’s leadership in designing Bluetooth-enabled companion products for the global wireless communications market. The HDO includes unsurpassed optical precision and performance that optimizes clarity at all angles of vision - even at the periphery of lens contours that maximize peripheral vision and side protection.
This eyewear also uses Bluetooth Stereo Music Player (A2DP) to enable music to stream wirelessly from compatible products to the eyewear. At the touch of a button, a user can play or pause music and answer an incoming call.

- Integrated Bluetooth technology for wireless phone connectivity and music listening Range of up to 30 feet (10 meters) from your Bluetooth-enabled device
