Sanyo To Launch Xacti VPC-HD1 At CES 2006

Sanyo Xacti VPC-HD1 Digital CameraSanyo is going to start the debut of their new Xacti camcorder series, the VPC HD1, at CES 2006 event in Las Vegas. Xacti HD1 is the world’s first high-definition (HD) compact digital camera that is commercially available in the market. It sports a 5.1 megapixel CCD, 2.2-inch OLED display, HD video recording @ 720p, and 10x optical zoom. No information about internal memory capacity, but it does support SD card up to 2GB for additional storage. Measures 3.1 x 4.7 x 1.4 inch and weighs 8.3 ounces, Xacti HD1 digital camera will be available across the US in March for $799.
