i930 cell phone is the first and the only Windows-based smartphone from Nextel. It’s a global phone and can be used in more than 100 countries. Powered by Intel 416MHz processor and 64MB of flash memory, the cell phone comes with an SD card slot, 176×220 65K colors internal display, 96×65 4 colors external display, and infrared support. It runs under Microsoft Windows Mobile for Smartphones 2003 SE with MS Outlook syncs ability and operates on iDen 800 and GSM 900 / 1800 network. It weighs 5.9 ounces and available for $500.
A review from PCMag said that Nextel i930 cell phone is not quite good.
The Nextel i930 will appeal to two types of Nextel users: Microsoft fans and global roamers. The phone uses the Microsoft Windows Smartphone 2003 SE OS and works on networks across the globe. It fills a few key gaps in Nextel’s lineup, but as a smartphone, it’s behind the times.
