You’re wrong. The upcoming cell phone from Motorola, the A1200 model, comes with an innovative transparent protective screen thus giving the feeling of a clamshell phone. And since it’s there to protect your screen, you don’t have to worry that it’d break if you accidentally drop it.

The Motorla A1200 cell phone itself sports a 2.4-inch (240×320) QVGA TFT touch screen that claimed to be able to recognize normal handwriting in both English and Chinese characters. Weighs just 95 grams, the phone comes with a 2 megapixel camera as well as music and video player. There’s a T-Flash card slot too for additional storage capacity. For those who can’t live without email, no worry. This cell phone supports POP3, IMAP4, and SMTP email.

The Motorola A1200 cell phone will be released in February next year. Initially, it would be available only in China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. So be there if you want it.
