AhnLab Developes AntiVirus Vaccine for Mobile Phone

As reported by Chosun, AhnLab, Korean largest IT security firm, is currently developed an antivirus vaccine for mobile phone. Named “Symbian OS V3″, the vaccine program will be loaded onto smart phones powered by the Symbian mobile operating system. Back on early September, F-Secure has already created an antivirus for mobile phone, which is then accused by other security firms for overhyped the mobile virus threats. But as time flies by, the needs for phone antivirus become more and more important.
AhnLab itself has already created a similar antivirus program for portable device, the V3 Mobile for Palm PDA. It features a real-time monitoring of all files in PDA as well as all incoming and outgoing files, an independently developed antivirus engine optimized for Palm OS, multi-language support, scheduled engine download, user alarm, and event logs.
I guess the V3 antivirus for Symbian smartphone will have similar features.
