On Tuesday, Samsung Electronics said that they plan to release one of their worldwide best selling phones, the D600, in Korea. This black colored cell phone will be upgraded with additional DMB (Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) capability and will be released under SCH-B630 brand. Adding a DMB is a good move since Korean seems to love DMB gadgets. Well, infact, the DMB network is only available in Korea right now. The D600 cell phone itself has been sold over 2 milllions unit within only 2 months after it launched.

Samsung SCH-B630 will feature a horizontal screen, voice recognition, quad band network, 2 megapixel camera with Flash, video recording, 72MB internal memory with Micro SD card slot for memory expansion, Java, email client, EDGE, GPRS, and a large 240×320 256K colors LCD display. The DMB capability allows users to watch TV / movie broadcasting on the move. With only 21.5mm thick, the SCH-B630 will be the slimmest DMB phone on the market.
