LG Electronics has just launched the U880 cell phone which could be the slimmest 3G phone on the market today. At only 18.2mm thick, U880 managed to pack lot of features, unlike other similar slim phones that usually come with limited abilities. Available in three colors (black, silver, pink) and runs under GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900 / 2.1 (Ghz) network, this cell phone is equipped with a high resolution 262K colors TFT internal display (176 x 220), 65K colors external display (96 x 96), 64 chord polyphonic ringtones, and 1.3 megapixel camera module with video recording and video telephone capabilities.

LG’s U880 also has MP3 player function which a dedicated control button on the front panel. You have 80MB internal memory to store your MP3 files. But if it’s not enough (absolutely!), you can add additional storage capacity with a Transflash card.

Furthermore, measures 98.8 x 49 x 18.2 mm and weighs 100 grams, this cell phone supports Bluetooth, USB, Email client, and Java client for third party games and appplications. No words about the price and availability yet.
