LG Migo Cell Phone for KidsPCMag recently put a review about LG’s first kids phone, the VX1000 or dubbed as “Migo”. We’ve already posted about this cell phone last week, so you might still remember what it is. If not, here’s a brief explanation.

The LG Migo Cell Phone features 4 Programmable Numbers, speakerphone, Hearing Aid compatibility, simplified keypad and interface, and dedicated emmergency button. Measures 3.23 x 1.81 x 0.87 inches and weighs 2.46 oz, the battery provides 200 minutes of talk time and 226 hours of standby time. The phone is available via Verizon Wireless for $99.99 (2 year contract) or $149 (1 year contract).

Excerpt from the review:

Verizon’s first kiddie phone, the LG Migo VX1000, is designed to give parents peace of mind. The Migo (pronounced MEE-go) is a little, rounded green phone that looks a little like a bug. Two little stubby antennas stick out of the top: One is for Verizon’s network and one is for forthcoming GPS services. It has five buttons—four speed dials and an “emergency” button—and a two-line text-only display. It’s just the right size for a child’s hand and, at 2.4 ounces, won’t weigh anyone down.
