I prefer PMP than just a simple MP3 player, but if you’re not like me and choose MP3 player instead, check out this new player, the X-Mate. It’s a portable digital audio player from Seagrand Japan. This flash-based player will be available in three capacity variants: 256MB, 512MB, and 1GB. There’s a USB ear phone rotary cable attachment that can be used as an earphone during music playback, as well as a USB terminal when used with a PC. This audio players come in five colors: black, blue, silver, red, and orange.

X-Mate supports MP3, WMA, and WAV audio files. WMA DRM is supported as well. Like others audio / MP3 players, this device is also equipped with voice record function and built-in FM radio tuner. Measures 56 x 24 x 23 mm and weighs 38 grams, Seagrand’s X-Mate digital audio player will be on sale in Japan starting from December 16th.
