Masterflex is currently the first and the only company who supply a bike with fuel cell propulsion system. The prototype of the fuel cell bicycle itself was first unveiled to public last year, and now has been developed to meet the production standard.

Among other things, the fuel cell bicycles will be incorporated into the overall tourism concept of the district of Recklinghausen and Ruhr-Touristik. Day trips for tourists in Germany’s famous Ruhr area should be on offer in time for the 2006 World Cup.
