MMI Tech has released a motorcycle helmet that comes with an integrated audio speakers / headset. Available at Nikkei.Net, the helmet implements “Bone Conduction” technology to transfer the sound from the device to your ear via your skull. That’s the same technology used by the SwiMP3 Underwater MP3 player that we recently posted yesterday.

While the Japanese government prohibited the use of conventional speakers for rider’s safety reason, I’m not quite sure whether this helmet would be safer as we might have our concentration distracted by the music. Looks good, but I don’t think I’m going to use it…
