Panasonic has just released their new notebook, the Toughboko T4 and Toughbook W4 models. Eventhough their name sound like a heavy one, these laptops are indeed thin and light. Both are designed to fulfill the needs of mobile workers. The new models both come standard with a magnesium alloy case, shock mounted hard drive, integrated wireless LAN, removable hard drive, 12.1 inch anti-glare LCD, wireless on-off switch, and docking connection.

The Toughbook T4 model spots a long battery life that provode over nine and a half hours of battery life, but still manages to keep the weight in at only 3.3 pounds. This notebook also features a sleek compact design with ergonomic hand strap and includes a touch-screen LCD. Utilizing the included image rotation software makes the T4 ideal for use while on the move, appealing to a wide range of industries, including mobile healthcare and aviation professionals.

The W4, which features a traditional 12.1 inch, anti-glare LCD, weighs in at just 2.8 pounds, even with its integrated DVD/CD-RW combo drive. This notebook has lower battery life, around 6 hours. It was built for mobile executives and active sales teams. It’s equally useful in the conference room or on an airline tray table.
