ViewSonic has launched their new series of LCD TVs, including 32-, 37- and 40-inch models, in the Taiwan market. According to the company, all of them come with a built in high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI). HDMI itself is a connection format that supports digital video and audio transfer through the same cable. Those new models offer 1366×768 screen resolution, 500cd/m2 brightness, and 8ms response time.

ViewSonic 32-inch LCD TV is sell for NT$42,900 (US$1,284), the 37-inch for NT$59,900 (US$1,793), while the biggest one, 40-inch, for NT$79,900 (US$2,392). The company expected that the LCD TV sales would hit 5% of the company’s worldwide revenues this year.
