This LCD TV from Westinghouse, the LVM-37w1 series, is for someone with low budget but want to watch the impressive image detail of 1080p resolution when using dual DVI input. The 37-inches monitor has a 16:9 aspect ratio and uses Analog VGa and DVI-D for PC connectivity. However, it still obtains some flaws, like lack of advance color controls, poor deinterlacer performance, and mediocre video-noise reduction and artifact suppression.

The 37-inch Westinghouse LVM-37w1 ($2,299 list) LCD TV has caught the attention of many display enthusiasts by offering native 1080p (1,920 by 1,080 pixels) resolution at a street price of under $2,000. And its two-megapixel resolution unleashes the detail of high-definition TV and PC content. Too bad it wasn’t quite as impressive with standard-definition content, including DVD video.
