After a lot of complaints about the scratchability of the iPod Nano, Apple responded by quietly adding a protective fabric sleeve to the packages of all iPod Nanos. According to the iLounge forums, the slip cases are identical to the ones included with fifth-generation iPods.

The complaints for Nano’s susceptibility to scratching itself has turned into a class-action lawsuit last month. The lawyers representing consumers in the suit filed a similar class-action lawsuit last week on behalf of United Kingdom and Mexico.
