Nikon recently announced the introduction of their new Digital Eclipse DXM1200C digital photomicrographic camera for advanced imaging purposes. It features a new Peltier cooling mechanism that significantly reduces heat induced noise, improved image resolutions, and also includes new software to improve camera control, digital viewing and capture of images in standard and ultra low light applications. The camera is capable of capturing images in resolutions up to 12.6 million pixels.
