Panasonic’s plasma TV, TH-42PX50U model, prooves to provide good color quality and imagery when displaying DVD video. This 42 inches screen TV comes with support for video inputs (component, composite, HDMI, RF, S-Video) and built-in TV tuner (NTSC, ATSC, CableCard). It supports the following EDTV and HDTV resolutions: 480i, 480p, 720p, and 1080i.
Nothing perfect, Panasonic TH-42PX50U also has several flaws. It lacks the resolution required to show the finer details of HDTV and the advanced color controls. It also has limited image-scaling options and no picture-in-picture options.
