Sprint and Samsung Launch Sprint Power Vision Multimedia Phone MM-A940

More cell phone with EV-DO receiver support. Today, Sprint and Samsung today announced the Sprint Power Vision Multimedia Phone MM-A940 by Samsung. This cell phone is compatible with the new Sprint Power Vision network - Sprint’s EV-DO (Evolution Data Optimized) wireless high-speed multimedia network.
MM-A940 will suport Sprint Music Store, which allows users to immediately buy and download complete songs directly to their phone; 30 channels of live and on demand video and audio from Sprint TV and On Demand, a personalized resource guide to news, traffic, weather, sports and entertainment. This phone will be the first EV-DO phone with 2 megapixel, 2.0 optical zoom camera introduced to the U.S. by Sprint.
Sprint Power Vision EV-DO service will also greatly improve subsribers wireless internet experience, including fast Web browsing, email, and company network access, as well as a richer multimedia experience on the third screen with content from Sprint TV, Sirius Music and other live TV and on demand subscription channels.
The MM-A940 is also compatible with the enhanced Nationwide Sprint Network (CDMA 1XRTT), so customers will have access to Sprint’s standard wireless data services.
