My favourite, solar-powered stuff. i-SHELTER is a solar-powered bus shelter that will light up with LED light immediately when passengers or anyone walk inside. Made by a Canadian cleantech company, Carmanah Technologies, these solar bus shelters were most recently installed in Edinburgh streets. They also have installations in Canada, Chicago and Seattle and a contract to provide at least 1,200 solar-LED bus stops in the London area.
