Light-Weight Laptop From Averatec

Couple days ago, my girlfriend said she was tired carrying her notebook. No wonder. She has that 15″ high-end laptop which is quite heavy. I’m sure many people sometime feel the same way as my girlfriend. Many new notebooks nowadays become bigger and heavier, packed with those high-end features, but have turned theirself from the term “portable”.
Fortunately, not for Averatec. Their new notebook, the Averatec 1050, has a slim 26.6 x 20.25 x 2.9 cm dimensions and weighs at just 1.6 kg. Now that’s pretty lite for a notebook. Comes with a burgundy color, this laptop powered by 1.1 GHz processor, 512MB RAM, and 80GB hard disk drive, which should be enough for doing most computer-related jobs.
Other features include the 10.6″ AveraBrite widescreen capable of 1280 x 768 resolution and a host of connectivity options such as a 4:1 card reader, two USB 2.0 ports and a FireWire connection.
The Averatec 1050 is available for £999.
Maybe I should buy this laptop for my girlfriend on her next birthday.
