Since a Bluetooth headset device already become a common technology, I rarely write about it here. Well, except an interesting one. The following Bluetooth headset, named Voyager, also fits into that interesting category. Unlike most Bluetooth headset, this one is not for your mobile phone. Instead, this goes for the landline. Finally, the privacy you want on the landline phone.
The Voyager comes with a headset and a “telephone receiver”, a mechanical appratus which requires a separate power supply and it physically lifts up the phone to answer the call and transfer it to your Bluetooth headset. Since not all landline phone is the same, user can also adjust the height till which the phone receiver must be lifted.
Weighs 17 grams, Voyager offers 100 hours standby time and 6 hours talk time. It comes with a noise reduction feature and a volume control. The headphone can pair with up to 8 units, and you can also pair up with cell phones, PDAs, even the PC and use it for talking over Skype.
