Allisblue - Transform Cells Phones into Web Remote Controls
Sponsored Links
According to The Inquirer, a company called AllisBlue has a patent pending for technology that transform all types of mobile telephones into Web remote controls.
Say you’re in the subway, and there’s an ad with a URL and you have a phone but can’t go online. You just key in a number and when you next go online, you get an email delivering the information you want. Advertisers have a bridge between offline and online, it claims.
It costs one Euro to deliver an email doesn’t cost the consumer anything and it’s relatively cheap for advertisers. Allisblue assures us that while the advertiser knows a valid mail has been delivered, it doesn’t get your email, so you won’t be spammed in future. Ford and others are already experimenting with the technology.
Their technology is already patented in Europe, but still pending in the USA.
