Memorex has recently announced its new USB flash drive product, Memorex TravelDrive ID, which is the world’s first USB Flash Drive with Built-in LCD Display. The LCD Display is implemented as an alternative solution for those who own more than one USB drives. The 13-character Surface Stabilized Cholesteric (SSC) LCD in TravelDrive ID is able to display the name of the drive, a date, or the contents of the drive including how much space is left. And you don’t even have to plug it in to display the information on the LCD.

Memorex TravelDrive ID uses USB 2.0 standard. There are three storage capacity: 512MB, 1GB and 2GB. Supporting both Mac and PC, TravelDrive ID also features Memorex’s signature ergonomic design cues, including an easy-grip area at the end of the drive, a contoured cap that fits on the back of the drive to avoid loss, and a cool blue wrap-around LED indicator.
