Today, Jabra announced the new Jabra BT500, the award winning Behind-The-Ear (BTE) design. It has a new modern design and improved audio perfomance as well as several additional features, including a mute function, single Bluetooth pairing button and multi-colored LEDs for added convenience and ease-of-use.
Jabra BT500 offers 8 hours talk-time and 240 hours standby-time. Weighs just 0.67 ounces (19g), it provides more stable wireless link between the headset and the mobile phone. BT500 also offers increased audio performance and less interference so conversations are clear and uninterrupted. To ensure superior sound quality, it comes with Jabra MiniGels.
As mention above, there’s a one-touch pairing button for simple connectivity. There are multi-colored LEDs that light up to indicate connection and battery charging status. A mute function lets users temporarily silence the microphone to speak with someone else or block out a sudden obtrusive sound. Furhermore, you can use Jabra BT500 with up to eight devices, such as a mobile phone, smart phone or PC, so users can easily switch between devices.
The Jabra BT500 is available in North America and will be followed by Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pac. It retails for $119.00 USD.
