WiFi Jukebox - Another MP3 Server for PSP

If you have trouble using the Dot-Tunes to turn your PC into an MP3 server for PSP, this is another alternative for you - The Globware WiFi Jukebox. The WiFi Jukebox, almost like the Dot-Tunes, is a client/server application which sends MP3’s from your Windows PC to your PSP using WiFi and an Access Point. It currently supports Windows 98 and Windows XP for the server, and requires a Wireless Access Point and a PSP using static ip network connection
While the server part will turn your PC into an MP3 server for PSP, the client part, the jukebox application, runs on the PSP, is a usual MP3 player which plays music from a user created playlist, or by selecting one file and after it is done playing the next song will play and so forth. It creates two 10 meg buffers to hold the song it is playing and to queue up the next song to play. So MP3’s larger than 10 megs will be skipped by the client currently since it doesn’t use true streaming.

Currently, unlike the Dot-Tunes feature, you can’t swap the music file on your PSP with the one on your PC.
