MosQuit the Mosquito Mouse
Sponsored Links
At first glance, I thought this was a mouse. No, not a real mouse. I mean, you know, the input device - mouse. But I was wrong. This is a MosQuit, an anti-itchy device which will prevent 95% of all mosquito (works with gnats and horseflies too) bites from turning into itchy welts.
The Mosquit works by 51°C of heat (123.8°F) to the bitten area, for a duration of three seconds for kids, or five seconds for adults. This specific temperature is supposed to neutralize the insect venom that causes the human body to produce histamine, the chemical that creates the swelling and itchiness.
According to Davita, the maker of the Mosquit, MosQuit should be used immediately after a sting for an optimal application. But also a later application can effectively fight the negative consequences of an insect sting. To use it, simply press it on the skin, on the mosquito bites area.
