Sony Ericsson Doraemon J300i for AsiaToday, Sony Ericsson will start selling the limited edition Doraemon J300i mobile phone to several countries in Asia. The lucky countries are Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, and Indonesia (yeah!).

J300i mobile phone comes with 2 flavours, the blue or the pink Doraemon Style-Up faceplate. The package also bundled with the phone pouch and phone strap with screen cleaner. Unfortunately, there’s no Doraemon ringtones.

Doraemon by Hiroshi Fujimoto, a.k.a. Fujiko F. Fujio is a Japanese manga about a robotic cat from the future who has travelled back in time to aid the thoroughly hapless Nobita Nobi in order that his descendants reap the benefits of Nobita’s success one day rather than be burdened by the considerable financial debts which his incompetence has led them to suffer in the original timeline. The retail price for Doraemon J300i mobile phone is S$128 for 2-year plan. The specs is similar with the original Sony Ericsson J300i. A dual-band (GSM900, GSM800) network phone with GPRS, WAP, Java, Infrared, and USB support. Measures 99.1 x 42.6 x 18.2 mm, J300i gives you 7 hours talk-time, 300 hours max. standby time, and 12 MB internal memory.

Hmmm, is it just me or the Gigabyte GX-5 Doraemon Edition is much better?
