Vending MachinePeople in Japan surely love vending machines. It is said that there is one vending machine for every 20 Japanese people. In 2000, the sales from vending machines totaled $56 billion! Like in many other countries, the most common vending machines in Japan are drink and cigarette machine. But there are many unique and interesting type of vending machine in Japan. Looks like they’re trying to sell everything possible through that machine.

A vending machine is a machine that dispenses merchandise when a customer deposits money sufficient to purchase the desired item (as opposed to a shop, where the presence of personnel is required for every purchase).
