Another tutorial to make your PSP more powerful. The following tutorial will teach you how to set up and run emulator on your PSP so you can play lot of free arcade games, such as Game Boy and Super Nintendo, on your favourite gaming device.
How to Play Free Arcade Games on PSP
- Download and unzip flashenabled.com/h20/psp/games.zip, a folder that contains the homebrew PSP games (Tetris and Pacman) and a Super Nintendo (SNES) emulator with several roms (or game files).
- Download and install KXploit (flashenabled.com/h20/psp/kxploit_1.5.zip). Once installed, choose “Idioma” and select English.
- Next, run KXploit . In the Name box, type a name for the app file you want to load. For example, to run the SNES emulator, type “SNES” (without quote).
- Click the “ . . . ” button and navigate to the folder you downloaded (on step 1). Go to SNES folder and select EBOOT.PBP file. Note that all Homebrew PSP apps are called EBOOT.PBP.
- Now connect your PSP to your computer and select it from the drop-down menu.
- Click the “Generate files” button. This will create two folders on the Memory Stick inside PSP - Game. In this example: SNES and SNES% folder. Now put the SNES roms (.smc files) in the SNES% folder.
- Unplug your PSP and navigate to Game, then to Memory Stick, and select the Launcher app. Go to the SNES% folder to choose a game.
- To load other games, such as PSPTetris, repeat steps 3 through 6 using a new name and the EBOOT.PBP file for that application.
