This one really looks like my TV tuner remote controller. But it’s not. It’s another USB phone on the market, called S168 USB Slim Phone. As usual, you can use this type of phone to connect to existing instant messenger or VoIP internet phone software on your PC. Supported software are Skype, MSN Messenger, SJ Phone, Net2phone, and X-lite.
S168 USB Slim Phone lets you easily makes SkypeOut calls by using the numeric keypad. Of course, you can also receive any calls with one single button touch on the phone. You can even hear the phone ring when there is any incoming calls, just like a normal phone. If you look at the image above, there’s also a button to control the volume. Neat, huh? You don’t need to use your instant messenger or internet phone software’s desktop interface anymore. All you need is this slim phone.
For those who want to hear the technical spesification, USB Slim Phone supports USB 2.0 interface. The dimension is 101 mm x 44 mm x 17 mm, and weighted 38 gram.
But still, it sure looks like my TV remote controller…
