BloggerSwap Reviewed… and Removed
Sponsored Links
I’ve been using BloggerSwap exchange service since the beginning of August. I took it off from the sidebar last night and move it to the Links page.
Like any other link exchange service, BloggerSwap required you to put their HTML code on the page you want to promote. The pros are, it’s a fair 1:1 exchange, which means, if the BloggerSwap ads on your site displayed 5 times, your own ads also will be displayed 5 times on other BloggerSwap members site. BloggerSwap also generous enough to offer 2500 free credits for every new member. It means, once they approved your site, your blog ads will be shown at least 2,500 times on other members site. Another good thing about BloggerSwap, it’s not a text link exchange, it’s a ‘logo’ image exchange. You can submit your blog logo, avatar, picture, or anything. This will attract more people to click on the ads rather than the normal text link ads.
So what’s the problem with BloggerSwap that make me have to remove it from the main page? Well, one of their biggest problem is the lack of members. When I registered 2 weeks ago, I’m member #180. I guess they now have around 200 members. Still not enough for the exchange. Also, it looks like not all of those members put the BloggerSwap code on their site. See, I’ve collected over 7,500 credits during my first 2 weeks with BloggerSwap, and look at the screenshot below.

Yeah, my blog ads only displayed 200 times on other member site. And only get 4 clicks. Okay, I guess the bandwidth to load their code and the image doesn’t worth much to make them stay on the sidebar. That’s why I move them to the Links page :))
Hmmmm, if BloggerSwap ’s staff read this post, I guess my BloggerSwap ’s account will also be removed :d
