Working on my 3^rd WordPress plugin, named CA-Recently. Don’t know why I choose that name though, especially because the name doesn’t quite match with the purpose of the plugin :p

The idea behind this plugin is to have an all-in-one plugin to handle post (and probably comment) related stuff. Packed with lot of features, including, but not limited to:

• Show x recent post(s) from all categories, or limited to one or more specific category, similar to next_previous_post plugin. Look at my ‘Lyric List‘ link on the front page sidebar.
• Show x previous/next post(s) from all categories, or limited to one or more specific categories. Look at the ‘Extra box‘ on single page view sidebar and the ‘On Previous Page‘ and ‘On Next Page‘ list on the bottom of the front page.
• Show x random post(s) from all categories, or limited to one or more specific categories.
• Customizable formatted output. You can display the normal title link, content’s teaser, excerpt, and more.
• Result list can be divided into several columns.
• Groupped result by date or just ‘throw it all’
• Sort result in descending / ascending order and by title or date
• Human time-range option (ago, later, tomorrow, yesterday, today)
• … and some more :d

Expect this plugin to come out in 2-3 days. Will probably make an entry to the Plugin Competition too. But meanwhile, please take a look at my other 2 plugins, CA-Weton and CA-Weekday.
